We are a new “Blog” and will be adding content almost daily, so please stop back and check on us often.
The goal of this blog is to help you lead a healthy lifestyle. Like you, we lead a very busy lifestyle. Trying to be healthy, be a wife/husband/partner/mom/dad and raise a family or care for loved ones is very difficult, and we don’t always take the time to eat right.
In addition, we have more information today on what works and doesn’t work in terms of weight loss. New foods such as “superfoods” are being developed that many people do not even know about. We will help keep you up to date so all you have to worry about is living.
We will provide tips for you to help you manage. We have also found that we sometimes have a tendency to sabotage our healthy lifestyle when we get too stressed, so we will do our best to provide some advice on that as well.
We will deal with things like grocery shopping, what to pack in your pantry, exercise for the busy person on the go, quick and easy meal preparation, and much more. We have assembled a great team of contributors and will share with you some great information. Hopefully it will help you save time, money and make your life better.
Now and again we may even have an article about relationships, marriage, etc.
We will do our best to stay away from “fads”, fad diets and things like that though. We would prefer to only talk about tried, true and proven methods that have worked over the long haul. Plans you can live with, not only stay on for a short period of time and then fall back to your old ways of doing things.
Now, if a fad diet does come up, we may discuss it. Analyze it. Talk about the pro’s and con’s of the diet, etc, but we will only recommend something if we know it works.
We would also like to hear from you. If you hear about something you would like us to discuss, please share it with us. Also, if we write something and you do not agree with it, we would like to hear that as well.
Please do not think of this as a “diet” or “weight loss site” only – although we will talk about those issues, we would like to think of ourselves more of the overall lifestyle and how the food you eat fits into that lifestyle than simply a diet blog. I hope that makes sense.
As I write this spring is upon us and the weather is warming up. The kids are wrapping down their school year, and others are graduating. In other words – we are all going to be really busy!
